WE BELIEVE IN BEING A POSITIVE PART OF OUR COMMUNITY
Learn some of the ways we give back with gratitude for where we live and how we work
Peerless Handcraft founded World's Best Lemonade, a Farmers' Market venture, which generated more than $10,000 for the Stafford Animal Shelter over the course of its operation. PH helped launch the Livingston Community Bakery, a program of the Livingston Food Resource Center. Many treats were consumed during this venture. Currently, PH is on the Livingston Tree Team. We're digging in, literally, to plant an urban forest of 1000 trees over a ten year period. Giving back is where it's at!
ZERO WASTE IS HOW WE ROLL!
We strive for 100% usefulness of all lumber we purchase. Short board trims are pressed into service as small furniture or as one of a kind designs. Parts not used by PH are shared with the community at no cost. Our parts are made into whistles, pipes, bowls, musical instruments, walking sticks, breadboards, garden stakes for sweet peas, tomatoes and beans,...all sorts of cool stuff! Our sawdust is used to grow mushrooms, make horse and animal bedding, compost and garden mulch. It's a win/win of creative reciprocity!
On a regular basis we participate as volunteers right here where we live. See what we're doing now! Follow us on Instagram @peerlesshandcraft.
